It is indeed a pleasure to welcome a useful and user friendly book on the New Educational Policy. A well awaited handbook for teachers. It gives a comprehensive idea and expections from a teacher in the changed structure of education explained in the policy document. This book illustrates the new challenges and expectations from the teacher in a simple language that will be appreciated by the reader. Due to Covid –19 pandemic training programmes may not be easily available. In order to have globally oriented education the policy has stated fundamental changes needed to be made. Dr. Palkar in her book has neatly explained the comprehensive expectations from a teacher and how the teacher needs to play many roles effectively.
Questionnaires , diagrams, tools included in the book will definitely help an individual teacher as well as trainer.All round development of a child in a global scenario is a gigantic task for both teacher and taught. This hand book will prove yo be a useful tool in the hands of a teacher and a student teacher.
